Personal Training

Our mission at Lynx is simple:

We want to help our members feel better. We take a holistic, all-encompassing approach to fitness and to life. We know that optimal health is achieved by improving ourselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. Our team prioritizes individual goals and needs of each client while focusing on the 3 pillars of overall wellness: staying active, eating nutrient-dense foods, and treating your body with the love and respect it deserves fueling your mental and emotional health. Fitness just like life is creating balance. Otherwise it is not sustainable.

Why Personal Training?

Whatever your ‘why’ is, our trainers are here to support you to stay on track in reaching your goals and improve your overall wellness. Trainers will hold you accountable, ensure your workouts are purposeful, and teach you how to move better. We believe the ultimate goal of personal training should always be to increase your own knowledge of health and fitness and become the best version of yourself.

What types of training do you offer?

Personal Training: Trainers are now accepting new clients for personal training held in our Private Personal Training studio at Lynx. Sessions are an hour long and will utilize all aspects of the gym floor.

Program Design: Not quite ready for personal training but want some more direction on what to do inside or outside of the gym? We got you! Our expert trainers have curated mobile app-delivered training programs just for you and your goals.

Semi Private Training: We understand personal training can seem intimidating - either from the individualized attention or price point. Semi Private Training offers the ability to train either with friends or in a small group setting.

What can I expect from training at Lynx?

We will focus on an array of fitness methodologies from a Functional Training perspective during your personal training sessions. We know it is important to push our clients, both mentally and physically with continual focus around form correction for injury prevention and optimal success.

Our goal is to help create more autonomous motion and provide continual help from start to finish. It’s also important that our clients have a sound understanding of what they should be doing on their non-training days to stay active and mobile.

This isn’t just your run of the mill training, it’s personal, it’s holistic, and it’s designed to be sustainable.

How do I get started?

All training clients begin their journey with a complimentary consultation. We generally break this consultation into 2 parts (Consultation and Movement Screen) to make sure no steps are skipped and our Coaches can pay attention to your individual needs and goals.

Part 1: During the consultation process we will sit down and discuss a brief background (Lifestyle, work habits, daily activities), your exercise and injury history, exercise knowledge and fitness goals. We will also take some baseline information and allow you to do an InBody scan, if you are comfortable doing so.

Part 2: The Movement Screen portion allows our coaches to get you moving and take you through a full body movement screening. Utilizing foundational exercises as well as methodology from Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), we will be able to help assess your limitations and individual needs, hence ‘personal’ training.

From there our coaches will help identify a path that is best suited for your lifestyle and specific goals.
