Raised in the northern part of New Hampshire (small town called Lancaster). Growing up played all sports including golf, basketball, soccer, and baseball. In 2013, graduated from Southern New Hampshire University with a bachelor’s degree in Business, and a minor in Marketing. He played collegiate golf for the University for 4 years, two of which was named team captain. Always has had a strong passion for the game of golf and decided to pursue this love by enrolling in the PGA Apprentice program post-graduation. From 2013 to 2018 he traveled between New England and South Florida working as an Assistant Professional in the Private Club sector and has worked his way up to be a Certified PGA Professional. Wanting to capture a stronger work/life balance Jeff now works based out of Boston during the weekdays and instructs golf during the week- nights. His love and enthusiasm for teaching the game has drawn him back to Lynx and looks forward to making progress with each student! He has instructed all levels and is happy to be a part of the Lynx family as one of the new golf instructors.
Coaching Philosophy:
Having instructed with some of the best teachers in New England and across the country I believe in keeping things simple. No player or body is the same, so we work to develop proper habits and swing mechanics for a more repeatable motion. Taking each player independently and focusing on 3 key positions: set up, peak of swing, and impact. Player dependent we focus on one area at a time and work to improve mechanics and practice routine. Understanding how to practice, what to practice, how to fix the “big miss”, and bridging the gap to better golf for all skill levels starts with the right mindset.
