MEET MIA
Hi Guys! Some of you may already know me from when I worked the front desk, but let me introduce myself as Coach Mia! My fitness journey means the world to me. It is a never ending, always changing and progressing journey that I love sharing with all of you! When I first started working at Lynx, I could barely pick up a barbell, let alone goblet squat with 20lbs. I was also a very introverted person who felt very insecure about myself in almost every aspect. My relationship with food wasn’t something I was proud of either; I was eating either too much or too little. Safe to say, it was time for a change.
I made the decision to work with a coach myself and my life completely changed. Learning how to stay disciplined and what it took to stick to a program helped build my confidence from the ground up. It started with the small things: noticing that my knees didn’t hurt when stepping up the stairs, or that I could put together and eat a meal that didn’t make me feel bad about myself. Personal training changed my life, and I want to be able to do the same for others.
Building a routine and healthy habits shouldn’t be something that you struggle with- I’m proof that with the right tools, you can build a BETTER YOU. I’m very happy to be given the outlet to share what I learned/am learning from my fitness journey with those who want to change themselves. The gym is supposed to be a happy place where you can find like-minded people and really build upon what you already have. Let’s build something worth being proud about!
